Internal fan makes this not 'whisper quiet' as listed on the Medline website. No returns or exchanges so best bet is to avoid this unit entirely if the whisper quiet attribute is important.

I purchased this product last month and in less than a month I noticed that the water was like brownish in color and it has a like almost orange brownish color on the inside of this item. I’m going to buy another one and give it another try only because I need the humidifier.

I have used humidifiers in the past and they always made my bedroom so damp that my window would form mold. This product doesn't make the room damp and I also love the lava lamp color effects!

DO NOT ORDER, It is flimsy, leaks easily, and is a fire hazard!!!!!!

Put some water in the reservoir, sealed it, and it leaked all over the place when I turned it over to mount the reservoir to the unit. Got spill cleaned up and went to turn it on the the switch blew and shorted out the unit.
It is a fire hazard and Medline at home should not even be selling this.
