The manual included with the packaging is too small to be readable. The URL for the full size document should be provided on the product packaging. Can't rate the product yet because, I haven't read the manual.

I'm not sure how accurate this always is, but I actually love it. It did take a long time and a magnifying glass to figure out the instuctions, but once I did it seems to work fine. We have used it alot. Mostly did forehead, but with recent illnesses, tried the ear function (be sure to press the "ear" button). Sometimes it was similar to forehead and sometimes a couple degrees off.

I love this thermometer. I find it easy to use. As with any thermometer it sometimes gives a false reading, but it's usually my fault.

Illegible instructions

When you are sick and need to take your temperature, first you need to find a magnifying lens to read anything on the label which starts by telling you what color means what but neglects to tell you how to use the thermometer! Very bad design.

Quits working after a month

I bought two of these and the same thing happened with both- after about a month stopped working and would not read a proper temp-even with new duracel batteries.

Garbage

This is the absolute worst digital medical thermometer I've ever used. I purchased it using my Medicare OTC coverage, and is extremely inaccurate. While the ear temp readings seem somewhat accurate, the forehead readings are a joke. It consistently tells me that my temperature is 91 and 92 degrees. Not once has it given me an accurate forehead reading. I have a cheap digital mouth thermometer that gives extremely accurate temperature readings, yet this fancy Medline TH1002D with its voiced readings gives garbage readings. Steer clear of this inferior product.

temperature is way off

We have tried and tried this. It says we are very cold, lol. If we could figure out how off, maybe it would be ok. How can we calibrate this? It didn't come with instructions.
