It’s cute but, I was following a recipe in grams and to make sure I switched it to ounces it is off and it kept changing. Bad investment.

Deficient in several ways
Rating
While it does weigh correctly, it is difficult to clean because the top does not detach from the body. The buttons also require a hard push, harder than necessary to work. My other scale, a $10 Amazon item has a detachable top and buttons that are easy to push. I don't recommend this scale.

I noticed right away that this scale wasn't accurate, seemed way off when weighing a chicken breast. I compared it to my old non-digital scale and confirmed it.

Great scale, but a difficult challenge for battery replacement

Actually, I love this scale. I went on a diet and was able to weigh everything that I ate to the nearest gram or tenth of an ounce. With the Tare button, I can set the scale to zero with a bowl on it, and then add my food item for weighing. I use a tall water glass to measure out exactly 2 ounces of spaghetti, as well. The only problem is that in order to replace the CR2302 battery, one needs a precision size Philips screwdriver in order to remove the battery cover, and then one needs a small flat head screwdriver to coax the battery out of its recessed location. I don't think that most customers who buy this digital food scale have these tools in their toolbox, which will pose a bit of an inconvenience.
