This chair is essentially rust-proof. I keep it in the bathroom for use before and after I get out of the shower. I find it to be quite helpful; I don't know how I ever got along without it. It is plenty sturdy enough for me, and it has nice rubber feet to prevent scratching the floor. I did find the plastic back and seat to be a bit hard on my body, but I cured this with a foam seat pad and towels to drape over the hard plastic. I highly recommend it for anyone that does not already have a bathroom chair.

The chair is easy to assemble. Like many items that depend on screws and wing nuts after you put it together sit on it, move around, then retighten the wing nuts. The materials will loosen up — After a few showers tighten it up again or ask someone to tighten it for you. Happy enough to order a second chair for downstairs! Thanks Medline!

Wobbly

It has a 350# weight limit, the person was well under that, there are not stable bars for the legs...the seat is small .....it could not be used, it is wobbly so it would be even more wobbly in a shower with water running and soap making it more slippery....would be best for a person who just sits there and someone washes them, but if you wish to wash yourself, moving around is not stable
Can't return it thru the OTC program, have to go thru you private insurance.....a hassle....gave it away on Craigs List...My advice: go to a med supply place and sit in the chairs and move around in person
and see what works for you.
