Not worth it
Rating
Barely picks anything up and then the jaw opens up and it drops. I dropped the book it wouldn’t pick it up. The best thing it’ll do is pick up a piece of paper off the floor if you’re lucky.

Junk

If I could give this zero stars I would. This doesn't pick up anything. The actual "claw" is loose, zero tension. Don't waste your money.

not designed well
Rating
Wouldn't recommend this. To pull the trigger, I have to use the ends of my fingertips, which is overstretching and hurts. I got a reacher from my doc and it has a bar alongside the handle that I can squeeze with my entire hand that is so much easier. My son has long fingers and he had trouble using it. The string used to open and close is exposed and looks like it will wear out in time. It catches sometimes and doesn't go back into place. The bar itself is too thin and easily bendable. It doesn't open wide enough to pick up most items. The only good part is has, is a magnet on the very end of the bar. Overall this is cheaply made and not worth it. If I can't grip it, I can't use it.

OK for the price but has issues
Rating
For the price this is an OK grabber but as been mentioned, it is not super sturdy and grips only as strong as your hand strength, no mechanical advantage is added. Not good for smaller hands either.

Arrived bent

This arrived in a huge box all by itself completely bent and unusable. Medline is replacing it, but I can tell it's a very cheaply made item and not worth a penny.

Useless for me
Rating
I had ordered this after I had a book fall behind a shelving unit and had a hard time retrieving it. When I received it I realized that not only it would not have helped in that situation but I had tried it in situations with much lighter items and found it next to useless. It would not even grab a small bottle from the back of a deep bottom shelf. I ended up just using it to hit the object until I could work it forward. Too lightweight to help me with anything.

Useless
Rating
This product design is poor, the grip end is non-symetrical, resulting in a very weak grip that can hardly pick up anything.

grabber isn't worth a dime

Do not get this. The trigger is too far out so I have to stretch out to pull with my finger tips. Put my hand to sleep. Pulls with a single exposed string, which doesn't release sometimes. Very lightweight so easy to bend or break. Handle is flat so hard to hold. No ergonomic design used. Very difficult to use.
